Member States of the UN are discussing options for establishing a Global Pact for the Environment, seeking to unify international environmental law principles. If adopted, the Global Pact would codify key environmental rights and duties as well as fill gaps in international environmental legislation.
Stakeholder Forum has become a member of SDG Watch Europe. SDG Watch Europe is a broad, cross-sectoral, civil society alliance which aims to ensure that the EU and its Member States meet all of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets, within Europe and externally.
We are delighted to announce that Leida Rijnhout has joined Stakeholder Forum as an Associate. Leida Rijnhout is member of the EU Multi Stakeholder Platform on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, and she is the initiator of SDG Watch Europe and is member of its Steering group.
